Clayton Tea Party Worship

On October 24th 2014, Clayton Methodist Church hosted our first Tea Party Worship.  We welcomed 27 people including some from each of our village churches, some from Rowanberries Care Home, 2 who can’t make it to Sunday morning service and the rest from our congregation.
Favourite hymns were sung.  Rev Graeme gave a short talk. Psalm 84 was read.  Rev Sarah Jemison took time to introduce herself, explaining her background.
We blessed each other by singing “May God’s blessing surround you each day” before tucking into scones, cakes and cups of tea, whilst enjoying great fellowship.
‘When is the next one?’ we were asked.  We intend to host one each month. For future dates, see the circuit calendar.
